Okay, so the question is, do I require Hair Transplant? Can I be treated with PRP and medications? It’s a very valid question. This is something we need to understand.
I will make things very clear and transparent for you. There is a lot of confusion going on, and often you spend a lot of money when hair transplantation is needed like medications, PRP, or sometimes we go for transplant when transplantation can be avoided.
So, let me clarify things in a plain and simple language.
Hair Transplantation is a surgery. It is a treatment for baldness; it is not a treatment for hair loss. It is something that we need to understand, and if you're clear on the fact that you're losing hair, but I am not bald yet, then medical treatment should be taken
If I've lost my hair with no follicles left, I can see the scalp, it is shining and totally clear, then only transplantation can help. So this is clear, if we have baldness, then hair transplantation is needed.
If you have a farm or a land, and there are no seeds, you can put whatever fertilizers you have, or can put a lot of water, but you will never grow the plants that you want. For that, you need seeds.
Hair transplantation is like sowing seeds, and PRP, medication, and lasers are like fertilizers and water which we apply to the seeds sothat they grow healthy and big.
Now, suppose you undergo hair transplant and you have some of your own hair remaining, and the transplant is able to grow hair where there were none, but you have some of the remaining hair, do not use your medicines, PRP, or lasers.
The only thing that will happen is that you will continue to lose your native hair that you initially had before transplantation.
So, the native hair that you had will continue to fall, and after few years what is going to happen is, that your transplanted hair would be left, but the hair that were not transplanted would be gone, so in two-three years you would be back to square one.
As your soil is not good, it is not very conducive for your hair growth, and unless you keep supplying them with fertilizers and water in the form of medicines & PRP, your native hair is not going to survive for long. So, if you want good results after hair transplants, PRP and medicines should be continued after hair transplantation.
Many doctors do not tell, they just do the transplantation and send you back after the transplantation is done. You enjoy your results for one or two years, but after 3 or 4 years when you lose your other hair, you require multiple transplants thereafter.
So, friends my advice is, if you're going for hair transplant in Delhi and if you have remaining hair left, please take medications, PRP to preserve your remaining hair because the soil you are using is not very good for your hair. That is why you are losing hair. To make it fertile, you need PRP lasers, & supplements to make your soil rich and healthy for hair transplantation.
